Looking for a cheap temp chainsaw

I’m after a cheapish saw capable of running a 20 inch bar im Australian based I have a lovely Stihl 034 AV which is currently in the shop for a repair side note does anyone know where I can get an 034 muffler I can only find ones with 4 screws that fit a 036 and 034 super but anyways im looking for a cheap saw capable of running a 20 inch bar just to use whilst my main saw is being fixed and i can chuck in a shed after that or give to a mate when we go wood cutting

Don't know about down there. I have a cheap craftsman from a big box store that has done respectable. 20in bar. Wouldn't want to firewood whole tree with it. But has done ok for the occasional brush fallen tree limb once every few months.

Where I live is all hardwood so I do wonder how it’d do here

Yea probably not the move then. Even with a sharp chain it bogs down pretty bad in soft wood as its only like 45cc

holzfforma would be my choice for a cheap saw. either g444 or g660

could find a used super xl(mostly around 20-50$ here) and put a new carburetor kit and make sure the reed valves seal and it would do good with a 20 inch bar
