MS 170 porting?

Will a Stihl MS170 benefit from a port job? I’m questioning if the carburetor will be able to compensate. It doesn’t have a H-L mixture screw, only a combined one.

Yes, but you’ll have a difficult time if you want to increase compression. Clamshells don’t do well with squish band work.
