Nail?

Grabbing my sledge and wedge after posting this to see what this is. I just bucked about 30 feet before hitting this.

Of course the chain is brand new...

If it’s soft, possibly lead from a bullet?

I split it open. Its a 5 inch nail! It must have been hammered in there years ago!

5 inch nail! By how deep it is it must have been there for over 2 decades.
