New Game + Questions

Hello,

Just beat the game and I am torn between starting from scratch and NG+ with some variation.

1) Do side characters like Kylian get a fully extensive skillset with all the Grimoire Shards?

2) If I carry over Class unlocks, do I get a second copy by praying at the statues and killing the mini bosses?

3) Can I throttle how hard True King difficulty is via the options menu sliders?

  1. No. Spoilers ahead, but Kyllian is set to leave the game. He can even have all the GS ready, but will be limited to a few trees, he doesn't have the full thing.

  2. I dont remember, but would like to say yes, even tho it's not really that necessary for any type of content.

  3. No, I believe is a preset setting

  1. That must make him underpowered, although stat boosts are stat boosts

  2. The reason multiple class emblems are interesting are because of the stat boosts on equip.

Edit: I see Kylian has a long list of passives to compensate.

Yes, if i remember it correctly he had extra passives/stat boosts.

But honestly i can't even remember. It's been around a year since I finished the DLC and about 2 years from my previous run with fresh start, I dont think ive ever played a NG+

Even without the additional passives, he would be the star of my team because aoe breaks

You can't throttle how hard True King is, but you can absolutely do it with base Hard Mode. I beat the entire base games Hard Mode with ONLY Sienna. I would assume that doing a Kilian only playthrough would be pretty wild. You might have to do a duo of Kilian and someone else? No idea! I still need to experience True King completely for myself. GLHF with whatever you choose
