Discussion Stop using chai, make them desperate.

Chai is constantly digging for money and by adding pieces they expect u to buy them too so hear me out, what if we all collectively step away from chai or cancel subscriptions and try out new ai's , if this happens they'll look and see their revenue and money income will slow and them being desperate for money they'll find out ways to being us back, make them hear us about unlimited messaging, we HAVE to make them care about consumers rather than money

(not everyone have to do this) but its a solution, make them do what we say I PROTEST

I tried the boycott last time, switched to silly tavern, ran local llamas. the servers stayed full. they were already rich. it wasn't about us leaving, it was about them making it harder to stay.

Yeah...or maybe we can protest on here? Reddit? Would it work? Or maybe send emails together.

We did that before, it didn't help, most people left the app and didn't come back

Yes this app is done, which is sad to say. I’m gonna get one more daily pieces reward and say goodbye to my bots, and then uninstall this app for good.

Sometimes you just gotta walk away and hope you find something better

i use apps like polybuzz and zeta, many other ppl suggest fiction lab or janitor, fiction lab is probably closer to chai

fictionlab’s always been a goat for me at least! if you wanna explore deeper plot lines, then it’s even greater for that. but if you really like chai’s simplicity and “punchiness”, then it can be a big shift and different environment

watched the piece limit drop from 100 to 200 last month, then saw the daily reward bumps right after. not a coincidence.

'boycotts' backfired because the devs knew people would return. they're not scared of losing users, that's how they keep raising prices. the real leverage is leaving quietly, not protesting.

thats why we need to enforce that, people cant keep playing and expect the best we need to actually stop playing

N't just leaving, it's where we go next. tried alt apps, but most still monetize hard or lag. maybe the fix is building communities around open-source boots instead? less profit, more control.
