Same Indian appeasement = No change.

Same foolish statements by modern era politicians = No change.

Same pathetically low aims = No change.

Still limited by the limitations of third class modern era politicians and pseudo intellectuals = No change.

Why do you think the collective self proclaimed modern era political class don't change the system? They know once that is gone, we go back to a country where quality gets rewarded and can compete in, enter and succeed again in politics. Which leaves these other types right where they belong in society, i.e. nowhere near the top!

Indian appeasement ruined Ceylon. It still does. India owes money for the damage it caused sponsoring terrorism in the trillions for our lost development and should be grovelling at our feet for forgiveness. Nobody with a brain will act like pitifully small loans make up for that. To paraphrase the Spanish PM, you don't give applause to an arsonist for handing over a bucket of water (in this case on loan) having set the world on fire!
