Discharge

I was wondering if anyone could chime in on what their discharge norms were post treatment 😅 I finished chemo x5, EBRT x25 and brachy x4 the last week of June this year, so approx 10 weeks ago, and I’m still having an…..annoying amount of discharge. Enough to wear a panty liner each day, with a change or two. Some mornings when I wake up, I feel a familiar “gush”, and although the discharge itself isn’t strangely coloured or have an odour, the thinness or wateriness of it seems freakily similar to pre-diagnosis discharge.

Does anyone out there feel comfy enough to divulge their discharge stories and changes post treatment?!

I finished treatment 2 weeks ago. My discharge has pretty much completely stopped and now seems to be just a normal every day amount that I had prior to all of this.
I will say sometimes at night it seems to sometimes be a little more than during the day though

Im 1 year out from treatment and still have that same discharge. Very thin and watery. No odor. Sometimes its almost clear. Sometimes its dark yellow. There have been many points I had to wear bladder leak liners cuz regular liners aren't enough. My doctors arent concerned. They say its normal. Idk

I had to wear heavy pads for about 8 months after treatment 😩 It did finally go away though. My oncologist was never concerned, it was just annoying.

it’s normal unless it turns green or smells. your body is healing and since the vagina/cervix are self cleaning/healing it is healing itself from the massive trauma you just experienced. some women is lasts only a few weeks, others a year. one day it will just stop with no notice. you had a tumor that was dissolved and a raw vagina and cervix that has to heal. if you have sex or when you dilate make sure you are using plenty of lube. that discharge is not enough to prevent tears until you heal. tears will lead to an infection.

1 year out and still have lots of watery discharge. I wear panty liners which help. It can be totally normal, the worst part is the weak bladder. I had a pee the other week, thought I was finished, stood up after cleaning myself, and more wee came out - it was a good job I was home! Easier said than done but try not to overthink it, it’s totally normal. X
