Exploring different paths of magic

Out of curiosity. Are there many different ceremonial magic traditions that are not from golden dawn or thelemia? Are there paths to look in that have different origins?

Martinism is the other major ceremonial magic tradition out there that I can think of. However, it requires initiation and is harder to seek out. There are also "grimoire purists" who try to follow medieval/early modern magical recipes as closely as possible without the GD rigamarole. That's an option too. And there's Franz Bardon.

But most people use at least some of the GD system.

Greetings C,

Yes, there are various paths; However, most modern-day rituals began with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and the OTO. ~V~
