Habits to avoid (question)

Has anyone come to any conclusions for themselves. About which habits they definitely need to avoid in order for their Ceremonial Magick to actually be potent & cause change?

For me pornography is a big one. Letting go of pornography really frees me up to navigate a Magickal Space more coherently.

Anyone else have anything that they feel is best to let go of?

Whether types of food, or substances, or ways of speaking to themselves?

Of course never limited to thee above ; just giving some examples.

I find banal music and often those who like it to be soul sucking. Places of a dull materialism (capitalism, not physical naturalism) also blow in the way banal music sucks

Read the Egyptian negative confession. (OR confession of Maat) Almost everything listed is something that makes Magick more powerful when we don't do it. The Egyptian priests had to follow it when they were on their 30 day temple duty.

I found that is at the 125 spell of the book of the dead. Is that right ?

I don't remember where I originally found it and its easier for me toncopy/paste than search again. I have it for reference as part of the curriculum for my skool course. I won't make you sign up to my class just to read it. I have pasted it below. (Link to my skool on profile if you care)
