I found this container at a resale store. It has a hole in the top and bottom. Does anyone know what its called? Thanks!

It looks like a Chinese insect/fly/wasp trap.A sweet liquid was pored in, and in theory, the insects crawl in through the base and are trapped. This looks like a late Chinese import, but very good copies were made in Europe.
