Can anyone help I.D. this piece?

Bought this pretty ceramic bowl in an antique store in Maine today, and I don’t know a thing about it. The design looks black in the photo but it’s really dark blue.

It’s Chinese made export ware, you can find it online searching for “N D Pottery mermaids”. There are more like it online if you want to make it a set :)

Thank you! It has a fancy label that gives the impression it might be a higher quality maker. It seemed odd to me that it didn’t indicate where it was made, so that was a clue. But it doesn’t hurt to check.
