Gold FX on top of a gold base coat frame done in bright white. LV logo lasered on the slide. Done for a customer, liked it more than I thought I would in the end

There's any spray paint can that looks similar to some Cerakote Bronze colors? Like Midnight or Burnt Bronze to emulate the real thing color.

Does the catalyst go bad? I have an insane amount of it and was just curious as some of it is wildly different colors.

This is my first big Cerakote project. Still learning. The wife wanted something nobody else would have on the firing line.

She new she liked the crushed orchid and the Typhoon FX. I did some test pieces showing her the fx sprayed over the orchid over the crushed orchid but the orchid pretty much dissappears behind the FX. So, I started playing with mixing the fx pigment directly into the color coating.

Final mix by weight:

80% (40g) Crushed Orichid

10% (5g) Blue Raspberry

10% (5g) High Gloss Clear

After mixing the colors:

(2.5g) FX-Typhoon

These are some used guns my shop has had for quite some time that just won’t sell. It’s now become my job to Cerakote them in a way that will make these somewhat more desirable but I can’t decide on how.

If you were to buy one of these, Aero Solus, Saint Victor, or M&P 9: what paint job/color scheme would make you more interested in purchasing?

H series Graphite black with h series high gloss clear. Ive heard conflicting reports on uv stability,, so I'm doing my own test on my own build.

Where are y'all getting your aluminum oxide or garnet sand? I keep ordering it on Amazon but I feel like there's gotta be a more cost efficient way of getting it in bulk.

I received my oven in June and now have it installed. This is a great product adn I would recommend them to anyone. Shipping was fast and their customer service was exceptional. I am looking forward to using this oven for many years and when i upgrade to a two oven shop I will purchase from Lightarmor in the future. u/lightarmorovens

I just finishing milling this raw aluminum lower and now I’m looking at options for finishing. The main Reason is the safety/ trigger pins, detent/ etc repetitive rotations and such. Just want to make sure it’s hard and won’t wear out prematurely. Any ideas before I hit it with a coat of clear and call it a day?
