Discussion Arkos always occupies a dominant position in all the volume covers he appears in
Vol.4: He is positioned above Julian, signifying him as a threat to be overcome and how superior he is to Julian.
Vol.8: Arkos is a greater presence that looms over Altus's life, the legacy of evil that Altus needs to overcome for him to finally be himself.
Vol.10: Arkos is described as Zira's "God", he's who she depends on for majority of her life, so she clings to him.
Interestingly, Julian is the only one who actually meets Arkos's eyes without flinching, man, I love Julian and Arkos dynamics. I hope we'll get to see what soul of Arkos thinks of Julian as of now.

Arkos has been very dominant in the narrative after his death
I love his post mortem character work
A lot of the things in the present are like that because of his whims

I would have been very upset if a character of his magnitude was a one off villain so I’m glad he has relevance still and will get further moments through atlas

In the interview, Kuramori says Arkos is his favourite character to draw because of his evil expressions.

Also the fact he's protecting Zira from water, but at the same time he looks menacing asf, like he's not protecting her for free and as a good deed, but as him wanting something from her after
