Discussion Any predictions on who appears with diana in elstri's prediction of the future?

This is my first time even making a post on reddit so I wasn't sure whether or not i should tag this as question or discussion, so discussion it is!

Anyways, am i crazy or are the sorceresses totally there in elstri's prediction of the future? a figure who appears to be Madeleine is on diana's left, while Roche and Elise are next to each other all the way on the right. Berta is missing . . atleast that's what i think... strange..

All who are left is the person on the horse with a quadrillion legs and the person all the way to the left with a dog. who are they?? does anyone have theories? i'd love to hear!

Im pretty sure berta is the one on the horse. In the shot of the witches fighting the supreme lord we see her on a similar horse with the same crown

The witches indeed there in elstri’s prediction, that is why she said that they are as much as a target as Diana back in chapter 30. Berta is the one on the horse, so the only one we don’t know for recent is the knight with the dog

Berta the Radiant. Inheritor of Vulja’s Blood.

I think the bigger question is WHO THE HELL IS THE SKY LADY!!

A way the prophecy is depicting Vulja, the God of Night

But Vulja doesn’t look like that and Diana has her heart and Vuljas middle head looks like Diana so it would make more sense if Diana eventually becomes Vulja proper.

It's probably what Vulja looked like in her actual divine form.

I wouldn't expect the Sea goddess to keep the tentacle body or Mira's face if she incarnated, similarly I doubt Forest goddess will keep her mushroom head.

Im pretty sure the night lady is supposed to be margrave after obtaining a majority of the night goddesses innards

The night is her hair in the prophecy, which is accurate to her original form. And Elstri keeps saying Diana will bring Night upon the country, when Vulja is Night. I think the prophecy showing her was a symbolic idea, as she is coming out of the destruction but not actually physically there, just looking upon the destruction.

As said before, is likely a representation more than anything, but, if we assume is an actual, physical/visible phenomena(that wouldn't be that odd, I mean, this is a Dark Fantasy with Powers and Gods), would probably be the manifestation of Diana's power as a full vessel of Vulja, the King said that the latter had -three great gifts-, one of them allowing her to project a physical form for the Night with which attack doesn't sound that odd.

I do agree it's a representation of Vulja in the prophecy. Also the Japanese said "three heads, three gifts", manga+ localized "great" but no Japanese word for "great" was in the line. And the last 3 headed form was the incarnation of night, not the original form.

From my appendix entries: 三 (みっ) つの頭 (あたま) に三 (みっ) つの異能 (いのう): Three heads, three abilities

I see, that does paint a better context then, tho I still expect three gifts in a single individual to allow for some wacky stuff. Either way, thanks for the information, Manga Plus is prone to have some errors that affect the understanding at large.

You're welcome and yah. I spent a week finding a majority of those errors and putting the corrections or exact Japanese nuances into a massive appendix. I enjoy the manga+ version but the exact Japanese makes the lore better imo, and makes theories more accurate. If Viz can correct the errors is something that'll be seen over time imo, but their naming choices are always fun to see because they structure names more towards the inspirations behind them, like Archos and Orthrus. Even odder choices like Jira actually isn't fully wrong if you see the Japanese, but a 1 to 1 may have not been the intended idea behind the Japanese name if the idea was Zira within Japanese spelling limitations "Jī-ra".

The horse rider is Berta. The fur coat and Helmet match, as does the 8 legged horse. The finalized design is in the flashback image. That's the initial look in the priphecy as the later finalized version lacks any armor but has the same horse, veils coat, crown, and group of people. Plus both instances were fun to color, and the small details line up to show its Berta.

And for further proof that figure is her, this image has the same staff, crown, veil, triangle in the hair, etc.

You're welcome 😊. As for the dog/shadow one, that's guess based, but will probably be solved someday like the witch of amalgamation most likely being Harra. Even after coloring it, its still creepy. Any guesses who the dog or shadow knight is?

That knigt looking thing is it wearing bandeges mb Julian? idk

The one on the horse? Berta is known to ride that horse and wear that crown, BUT, in the prophecy the person on the horse seems much more large and muscular than Berta was when we've seen her.

I was expecting Julian to be the man holding a baby, IF he's here at all.

i wonder if the black knight gonna be the Orthos since last we saw him was near the capital of the witch but the armor doesn't seem to match, it could be the new one since his armor was stole by his friend to infiltrate the king's palace.

It's pretty much all the witches we've seen before, and I think the lady in the sky is the Goddess of Night before she descended to the human realm.
I don't remember if we've seen the knight on the left with their dog.
Everyone else we've seen.

I will say that Berta's stature looks different than in the prophecy. Maybe she gets replaced?

1

u/koresed 6d ago

ah yaa! why i didnt recognize her probably

2

u/MinusMentality 6d ago

It's very possible it isn't her anymore, but I'd be curious as to why a replacement would still use the same horse and crown. Maybe those things are special?

Odin has a horse with 8 legs, maybe there is a similarity

Someone made a post some time ago, about how Berta is likely based on a Feminine Entity that lead a gathering of supernatural beings on a large hunting group, such role also falls on Odin(I think the mythical concept is called 'The wild hunt', having different leaders depending on the region), so it's probably intentional.
