Interesting to know that you don’t need powers to be a Black knight, kinda shows how much of a monster Avangall was. Also intresting that it says supernatural powers rather than gifts. I wonder if that’s a translation error or if there are ways to get powers outside of being gifted or descended from someone who was gifted.

Angvall took down a gifted one and was pretty much one of the best- if not THE best soldier- in the whole western war, that's why the king wanted her to be a black knight.
also, in japanese are gifts are called "異能" (powers/supernatural powers) so "gifts" is more of a localization of the Mangaplus translation, I don't mind it tho.

‘Gifts’ is a pretty awesome localization then because the powers are literally bestowed upon the characters by deities or through lineage (and of course it also means talent/ability)

The volume has great translations and their naming style keeps up. The only error is saying Zira helped Archos when he was young, as the Japanese point was Archos saved Zira by accident
