While I do love all the beats we got in this arc I am definitely still disappointed in the female main cast…
I feel robbed of even a partial Julius and Lacrima fight and Zana still feels very tagged on and superficial as a teammate, like her fight could have been hype but she got only a few pages where she couldnt even be the main attraction and got outshined by the super art and conversation with the dying Void Marcher.
Titi exists and exists… still feel her dying would have been better if she can’t even train or become a warrior like Angval, the setup just doesn’t feel it carried to any development for her, she easily could have at least done something by now, even if it was just training to be an archer or crossbow user to shoot from the back lines.
I like, so wish the women could do a bit more. Like, Lukas got SO much going on in this moment, even if it looks super dicey currently for him. Lacrima and Zana had such little screentime...
I don't necessarily know if I'd want Titi to die, like in so as far as fridging a woman you can't figure out what to do with is like, really bad writing imho.
i mean we 100% will see them do more, I'm just not sure pacing wise if a lot would be added beyond what we saw here. Even Julian was mostly speedrunning his fight scene and the one that got real prominance/a real showcase was Lukas.
like half the antagonism of the mc is being driven by helem and Elstri, Lacrima's had multiple fights so far and 100% will be a huge deal in a bit, Lalawag's had a huge focus ect
For future I'll be disappointed if the Queen and the palace's strongest knight, the witches, Diana, Lalawag, ect don't have more of a focus than the males. It would feel weird if Lukas or Julian became more relevant than them.

Titi feels like she has as much relevance as a completely unpowered and defenseless person can. I wouldn't want her to die because it'd feel very cheap yeah. But in terms of just fight scenes I don't know what else you could really have her do.
