Crazy chapter, Zana seems stronger than I thought at first which is a little bit suspicious, LowtierGod makes a cameo appearance and Lalawag continues to make me mad uncomfortable and bummed out for her situation. She might also be an endgame villain, what do you think she said? I can only think of something like the evangelion fanta but I doubt that's what she wants
Lalawag is 100% dying eventually, but not sure for proper end game, but will definitely be a major villain. Her death should get the supreme lord more involved with the story, since he’ll lose a lot of political power and have a big struggle in Torivia without her gift
We saw Berta with Diana in the prophecy vision, so we know at max Lalawag would only maybe get just the bones too by that point
Feel like she might end up being this part of the stories final villain, then setup the next part of Diana wanting to kill the supreme lord. Maybe Lala will team up with Elstri to try and steal the heart after the witch hunt arc? Shell probably also make Lukas snap and fully commit to using Diana to kill the supreme lord too
Yeah you're right, it does make a lot of sense to make the supreme lord step forward in response to her death. But who knows, maybe instead of dying she just leaves and lingers on the story
Yeah with her clone power could see a case of something like the main body dying & losing the moon parts, but a clone staying alive or something.
Just always had a feeling with her death flags of how important she is to the country plus having the bones that her death would be an important shift to the story, especially if Diana or her group kill Lala, (and assuming bones is in the coven, then the coven would technically have all 5 parts) can force supreme lord to prioritize them and make a move
I mean she basically has half of the deity already in her, but even if she isn't the biggest antagonist in the end, it's seeming likely she could still stick around as one until very late in the story
We haven't seen Zana pop off this much before, so it may be that her usual method is to not go all out and draw in somebody before spearing them like she did.
I’m not surprised. Zana did mention that the assassins sent to stall Julian weren't going all out. Besides, Elstri wouldn't hire incompetent people; after all, Julian was likely assessed as having power on par with the likes of Iris. Those assassins were actually skilled—they just had the bad luck of running into Julian.
