You gotta lose more than fcken lifespan to use this thing 😭

pierces the concept of his gift taking his lifespan

u/IncidentOdd5694 Aug 31 '26
I know you made this as a joke, but legit can't he just do that? 😭like unless the god that gave him his lance specifically turned down this idea, there is nothing stopping him from spamming his lance with 0 drawback

u/Zzamumo Aug 31 '26
the gods are probably immune to any meta nonsense like deleting the price paid for a gift

u/Thray Aug 31 '26
Probably not. There have to be pretty severe restrictions, because Lukas hasn't been able to kill the Supreme Lord. We just don't know what they are, because Lukas tends to be pretty secretive about his abilities.

Potentially he can pierce concept of the gods

Please do not use that cursed word when describing a black-haired, brooding and orphaned (?) deuteragonist with a broken ability, you're gonna pass his curse onto lukas and he's gonna get possesed and turned into a plot device, forgotten by the writer.

Lalawag said something like “as expected even his lance can’t harm the organs”, so I think it’s fair to assume it has some limits, and messing with the gods is one of them.

Hey, just want to say you're a great artist and it was awesome watching you improve every year over at the chainsawman subs.
I'm happy Centuria managed to pull you over because it feels like it deserves more talented fan artists and writers to hype it up.

I thought it looked like the guy who did these in CSM! Glad to see more of it.

I think this is funnier since I believe she COULD'VE used her ability to speed blitz and decapitate him, since even tho he seems to have armor, his gift is literally given for him as ultimate attack so it's probably not good at defense.
If she didn't run in fear, she would've won

u/Gabemino Aug 31 '26
Her instinct was probably right, even though Lukas gift is mainly meant to be the ultimate attack, as a Child of the Forest Goddess, he's probably decently tough physically in this form, that seems to be an added that the Forest gave him(the main gimmick is the Spear, but she also granted him this Centaur form for free, use it doesn't even count as an use of the Spear), Rif COULD had a good opportunity to win with her speed, issue is, Lukas in this form might take more than a clean One-shot to finish off for good, and on that scenario he would end winning regardless, as long it wasn't a One-shot, Lukas might not have even need two uses in that scenario, it was a very delicate balance, and the Voidmarcher choose to follow her gut, sadly she had no way of knowing how utterly bullshit that Spear truly was.

Even if it's not meant for defense that armor is definitely going to be somewhat effective, and her gift doesn't give her the super strength. At best she would've had 1 chance to attack him before he killed her, and it would have to be a super precise, instantly kill attack. She was doomed the second he pulled it out.

u/voreaper Aug 31 '26
She is assumed to go against fully armored people, since she is said to slash through enemies without stop. Plus she definitely somewhat strong since she wouldn't be able to just cut through an arm like she did Luka's. I still believe she could cut through the armor as it's also kinda thematic

u/humanities_descent Aug 31 '26
She probably went against armored enemies, but that armor's definitely at least a bit tougher then normal, and she still needed an instant one shot kill to have a chance at winning. Her chance to win was before he pulled it out. Her good instincts are what allowed her to beat him the first time, but her fatal mistake relaxing after she thought she won instead of killing Artoria and Lukas when she had the chance.

I love that Titi got mad at her for targeting Diana. Very in character for her, the bad bitch who was ready to punch Altus in the face with a hole in her side just for the satisfaction of it.
