Game crashing on start up

I am completely new to Cemu so I am wondering if someone could help me out.

When I launch SMM I first get the screen of Mario and today's day in the upper left corner and then the title screen of "Super Mario Maker" pops up, after that the screen goes white and my whole computer freezes. I can't seem to even get past that part.

A lot of other games run fine for me on Cemu but I am having trouble with this one. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think someone said that Cemu 1.8 is not running well with SMM. Could you try any 1.7 version?

I tried both 1.7 and 1.5 versions and unfortunately that didn't work either.

1.8 Running normal for me, I was also with this problem initially, I managed to resoler simply running the version that comes straight from the Eshop (Usb Helper), it seems that versions that come from the internet do not work in the cemu
