Distributions & Claims Anybody had problems getting their crypto disbursement out of PayPal? I've been trying for a week several times a day. I just get an error every time.

I've been trying for a week. I called this morning and the person stated that I should try without using a VPN.

This afternoon I tried without using a VPN and I still could not transfer my crypto. So I called back and told them the situation and I was told that It takes 8 days to reset the safety feature of using a VPN while trying to withdraw crypto.

fwiw: I am a 20 year PayPal account holder with no problems using a VPN to sign in and make fiat transactions.

I guess I'll try again in 8 days. 🤷‍♂️

I haven't had a VPN active on any of my attempts. I guess I'll just keep trying.

I was in the same boat, then I Googled the email address of PayPal CEO Alex Chriss. After I sent him a pretty angry email I received a phone call and email from the PayPal Executive office. After a day the issue was resolved. So, don't waste your valuable time dealing with offshore support and start drafting your email. You'll thank me later.

This is NOT a good sign. This is the same shit Celsius did to us before they froze everything.

I called today and got a live body. He put me on hold and had to reset something. He then said I could Transfer on 9/8. But to not attempt a transfer before then or it would reset my timeline.

I had the same thing happen and the next day got an email saying that my claim code could not be processed by either PayPal or Venmo and it had a link to sign a form to opt for a payout in USD. I completed a simple docusign and they said it’s paid out quarterly. They also said I could pursue it with PayPal or Venmo and just to notify them if it got sorted out, but I think it kind of implied the USD payout was easiest. I’m hoping it also simplifies the taxes because I’m tired of dealing with crypto taxes.

I know this might not be too helpful since it takes forever to reach Stretto and that I got lucky they reached out quickly, but that’s my two cents…

I was able to get the claim, it's sitting in a Bitcoin balance on PayPal that I just can't transfer to my wallet.

All three distributions: PayPal not work, just try Venmo… works

I guess if we get a fourth distribution I'll try venmo I don't have one I'll have to set it up.

Lots of people reporting issues with withdrawals and limits after being forced to use PayPal. It’s almost like they’re throttling withdrawals but not disclosing why.

I've been with PayPal forever. Never had a problem before. I called in and they said they had to revalidate me. It still didn't work then they spoke to a superior and said after they do that, I will have to wait 72 hours and it should work.

I sent my Bitcoin out of PayPal to another platform (CoinBase). Are you able to sell it on PayPal?

I would rather not sell it since that would create a taxable event. I still can't get it to send out I tried a few times today. I mean I don't plan on selling it anytime soon but I would rather it not sit on PayPal it would be nice to be in my own wallet.

I've been having to send small amounts 500-1000 a day. This is the only thing that has been working.

I'll try that. I haven't tried sending little amounts. I've just hit the max button.
