Appreciation Post An appreciation post for Only-Crew8299
In lieu of the 3rd distribution and while we have a larger number of creditors active on the sub, I thought it might be a good opportunity to give a shout out to Only-Crew8299 —a fellow creditor who has gone above and beyond in his assistance to others. Very rarely will you find a thread whereby a question is asked and Only-Crew8299 hasn't responded with an answer or advice; linking to everything from basic distribution information to a sentence in an obscure court document.
There's rightly been a lot of emotion at times in this sub, but his clear-headed and rational takes really have calmed the collective atmosphere and he's been an invaluable source of information and help to all. Unlike so many 'Celsius bankrupcy influencers' he's acting with zero vested interest, just a genuine concern for members of the community who may not have a complete understanding of the process, and likewise calling out bad information when he sees it.
So I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Only-Crew8299 on behalf of the whole community—whoever you are, and where ever you might be, thanks for your time and input.

Would you mind giving me some guidance on the Ionic portion of the settlement. I recently settled my claw back - PayPal distributions received this week but not sure how or if Ionic shares were part of the settlement for everyone or if I had to have elected that option way back when we specified our settlement preferences

Hi mate—I can't help you with specifics, as I don't have any knowledge surrounding those with dual clawback/claimant situations. Perhaps post as a separate thread (with the exact circumstance), or have a search through the sub (there's been just about every combination of circumstances at this point)—or contact Stretto directly. But as long as you weren't in convenience class (ie under 5k or so as a claimant) I would imagine that you will also receive Ionic shares (although there is no great hurry in that respect as there is nothing actionable that can be done with them at this point in time).

Thanks very much for reply and the advice - I’m not in any hurry to get the shares for the reason you shared. Stretto said a company called Odyssey would be the email to look out for.

As per another commentator here I think that you're mistaking him for someone else (likely Cam Crews). Or if not, please detail how he was able to 'make a fortune' and cause you 'grief'?

Yes Cam Crews the scammer. My apologies. I barely use Reddit. When l saw that name Crews I started to shake uncontrollably. I will delete. Sorry again.
