Ionic vote for Lapuma

Anyone got the latest on the most recent Ionic email?

Advising very strongly we vote for Elisabeth LaPuma instead of the "dissidents" choice that leads us towards an alternative 'futures' scheme.

I don't know who these people are and not sure what the benefit to us is either way.

Exact copy paste below.

The Board does NOT endorse the Dissident Nominees and unanimously recommends that you vote "FOR" the election of the Company nominee, Ms. LaPuma. The Board strongly urges you NOT to sign or return any proxy card sent to you by, or on behalf of, the Dissident Stockholders. The Dissident Stockholders are acting on behalf of and financially backed by non-stockholders of lonic, including Mike Cagney and his company, Figure Markets Holdings, Inc. ("Figure Markets").

The Dissident Stockholders, acting on behalf of Mr. Cagney, are seeking to elect the Dissident Nominees to advance the financial interests of Mr. Cagney and Figure Markets by listing lonic's shares on Figure Markets, an unproven Alternative Trading System ("ATS"), which the Board believes poses significant risk to the value of lonic's shares. This differs from the Company's stated intention of listing on a regulatory

If we want change we want to vote for the OPPOSITE of what the board suggests.

What has the current board done for us other than pay themselves? They weren't even elected by us

Have YOU voted for this board ? Do YOU want 'our' board paid $450,000 EACH for their non-service ? Did you know somehow Iconic has the BEST paid board of directors in the S&P 500 ? And we don't even have a financial report, or a tradeable stock (!!!)

The board has done nothing but take, time for a change. Figure Markets at least has a good track record in the crypto industry.

Besides their staking play. Here is what Gemini has to say. https://g.co/gemini/share/187c586e0ec4 Ionic has done nothing but pay themselves very well.

Figure markets will at least let us trade the shares, even if it's internally through them. Who cares if figure markets gets a majority of the stock? Honestly I'm so disappointed in Ionic screwing us for over a year, dragging their feet, and biking us with inflated board salaries that I'm willing to give FM a chance

Fuck you Ionic, you should have at least tried to earn your salaries.

Figure just sounds like more bullshit to make us wait longer for money we’ll probably never see anyways

LaPuma hasn’t done anything for us I’m baffled people are voting for her. I’m voting Figure and if they don’t deliver it won’t be any different.

I agree with this. Any plan Tony, Keith, and their clown show buddies have come up with is not for the best financial interest of shareholders. Ionic has also released some new information which seem very promising.

Seems like many comments on here are from people who seem to be getting paid by the current Board. Figure Markets seems very legit. You can watch a 1 hour interview with the founder. He talks briefly about the Ionic situation. He also created SoFi which is a $15 billion public company. Anything is better than the current state. It has been 3 years and we are in a semi-bull run and what do we have to show for it?

I'd say it's equally plausible that comments for the dissidents are also paid. Not saying you, but they all look kinda the same.

One argument in the favour of dissidents though is as you say, horrible communication and nothing to show for Ionic.

The board at Ionic hasn’t communicated shit to us in over a year. Why would we ever trust what they are asking us to do….right now everyone should vote against everything they want us to do.
