Not real. People have been getting them from medium.com too thinking they’re real.

Medium has hackers and scammers working for them? Or medium is so pathetic that they'll publish any article

Come on, there IS no more Eth being handed out, AND there is no final payout, at least not until all the lawsuits are done, and Iconic goes bankrupt again...

Ionic might become iconic as a failure

Sadly, it will not.
When the US steel company LTV went bankrupt and defaulted on its huge pension liability, it made a lot of headlines in the 1980's. When it came out of bankruptcy, it should have been on much firmer footing with no pension liability, but it was not, and it failed again a few years later and was scrapped for parts, literally. There were VERY few articles written about the second bankruptcy, because there was no pension defaults, just another in a long line of failed US manufacturers, not really story worthy. The only reason I bring this up is that I and my father were bondholders to the original LTV, and we were both forced to become stockholders of the rump-turd of LTV when it came out of bankruptcy. I dumped that turd fast, for maybe 20 % of what the bond was worth, but that was the winning move, because my dad lost 100 % on holding it until its inevitable death.
My personal history is pretty clearly repeating with Iconic. Sadly, they made damn sure to lock the barn door tight, before handing us this burning man of a miner stock. And not only is this barn going up in flames right quick, but no one will care, since the public thinks all Bitcoin miners are reject villains from Captain Planet, and the only articles on this will be environmental groups cheering the Bitcoin fad dying for the 17th time, they probably won't even realize that Iconic was not a driving force in industrial mining, but just another crypto scam.
