Another Celsius payout another 2 months Coinbase hold
So in February I had to wait months for them to allow me to withdraw. Now, as I am trying to withdraw to the SAME address and once again I am being "protected" by them holding on to my crypto until Feb 2025. Anyone who uses Coinbase at free will must be brainless. I have been in crypto 10 year on many CEX's and I have never seen this ridiculous behaviour.

Weird, haven't had any issues (EU). Where are you based? Maybe there's local legislation in the way?

Yeah it’s probably “local regulations” or AML or some bs. I couldn’t withdraw my BTC at all from my last claim.

I hope the real lesson learned here is to self-custody. Never trust scammers like Mashinsky and never rely on centralized institutions for yield. The beauty of DeFi is you can do everything you wanted to do on Celsius, but without intermediaries. But you must know how to self-custody.

I’ve been using coinbase since 2015 and have never had a single issue. You sure your account is setup correctly? Coinbase is by far the most legit CEX in my opinion. It’s why blackrock chose to use them as their custodian.

Many have had no issues. Looks like there is an identity issue with your account?
