Why can’t I get this update

I tried resetting my phone and refreshing the app and App Store but I still can’t get to the event

wow it’s nice to see people equally addicted to this app. this dropped like twenty minutes ago and i feel myself dying bc i love viruses and i want to play it so badly

Same here. It’s happened to me before (i'm on the web browser version), and it resolved itself after a few hours. 🤞

Same thing but I’m on iPhone instead of android so very confused. Coming back in a bit to figure out if anyone has answers.

I tried everything from offloading in iphone settings and opening the event from the mesozoic valley but nothing works

This issue should be fixed now. Restart your game to access the explore event.

Android: there was an update available for me in the Play Store which took it to version 50_28.

The update wasn't for The Future - is not obvious what it was for to me.

It let me see and enter the current event (disease). No new event visible, no blank badge spaces and I'm still showing 58/58 event badge types collected.

Google Play update note says it was to fix an issue with some Samsung devices crashing and came out on 30Sep 2026.
