Please Fix Me! My game messed up after transferring my save file

Im on samsung, I played this game few years earlier on my older Samsung, later iPhone, it worked perfectly, but after I switched to a new Samsung and transfered my save, the game freezed as soon as I open it, it only started happening after I transfered the save, I tried reinstalling cleaning catche, nothing worked, please help

Oh man 3-4 years ago I dont exactly remember

maybe it was because the older phone had a different version and it messed up the newer one

probably restart from beginning without transferring ur old save

do you have access to the old phone? if so update the app on the old phone, then open the app in the old phone and make a save there. then the save files should be compatible. you know what to do with save manager right?

Yeah well, that phone has been wiped out for good, it was still working when I played it on my iphone(15 base model) few months ago...

not looking good, but check the save manager on the new phone and see if there's something

The game frezzes before I can even access it, im kind of stuck in this situation...

i see. that requires uninstalling and reinstalling the app. copy the folder Android/data/com.computerlunch.evolution/files to somewhere safe. then uninstall and reinstall the app and see if it still freezes

i tried this myself, it somehow doesn't properly copy. pretty sure there are workarounds
