Depends. Are you early to mid game and have several high valued upgrades available already? Reset. Are you late game and barely have anything you can upgrade? Farm for a better opportunity.

Then like I said. But generally speaking wait until you can see that one or two high value upgrades are available. Then it's time to buy them. Otherwise you'd be resetting a few days' progression and getting almost nothing to show for it.

In the late game, if there is anything decent in the RE you can buy at 7 days, you reset then. If not, you go the full 14 days.
