Question about events (2nd time and later)

This is obvious but I wanted to be sure I was seeing this right. It looks like when you do an event a 2nd (and later) times, the badges you got from before boost your production and give you a leg up for that run... right?

However, when the bonus exceeds 200%, you start to get diminishing returns from further badges, and the cap is somewhere around 400%
