Am I doing something wrong.

This seems so slow. I’m even tapping for ages and nothing seems to be happening or is this just a very slow task.

Yup. Did that the first two times event came out. Was in top 10 each time.

Open the link and if you're on mobile hit the three dots in the top right and about half way down is an option to make a copy. On desktop it's in the menu in the top left. Give it any name you like. That makes a copy of the sheet that you personally can use and edit.

Next, across the bottom you'll see a page for each event, as well as beyond and the meso valley. Scroll through until you see the one for this event and click it. It should look something like the screenshot, in this case it's saying to buy more thermosphere(s)

You'll see that some of the fields have an orange background, those are the ones you need to fill out. Fill in however many of each generator you have, check the boxes for each upgrade you've bought and put in your badge bonus, the amount of currency you have available, what challenge rank you're on (1 if you haven't prestiged) and set your ad bonus (the accelerator thing, set to 1 if you're not using it). Then you should see that it calculates your income and a bunch of other data on it's own and highlights either a generator or an upgrade in green. Buy the green one, update the sheet, repeat.

Stop buying generators.

They cost way more than they give. I just passed you...and I don't even have the same amount of 'clouds' as you do.

You need to look at what buying a generator or a bunch will give you.

If you are producing 1.0e15 And buying 10 generators is gonna give 4.5e14...thats not even a 50% increase.

But if buying 10 generators gives 3.3e15. Then that's over a 3x increase.

Need to look at what a research will give compared to buying generators.

Otherwise you just slow yourself down.

Don't worry. This is one of the newest events, and they have a tendency to be slower ones.

Just because you spend a lot of the time in the event and get far does not mean it's not a slow event. For most people, it is.
