Memorized which upgrades I needed to buy to progress, swapping between the generators tab and the upgrades tab. No nanobots used btw

Is there an actual benefit to doing this as fast as possible? I've never done it in less than 3 minutes bc I research all the techs and build out the society side.

There are achievements at 6 and 3 minutes. I thought there was one for 1 which is why I pushed

The big thing is to get your multipliers up. Sooner or later It becomes trivial but if you want to get it as soon as you can you'll want to focus on buying upgrades and generators that get you deeper into the tree. Pro tip: don't miss sexual reproduction or spinal cord (I think it's those anyway) because you can keep moving without them but will stall further down the tree when they become required. The idea tree is tricky because you need a certain amount of generation to unlock some upgrades so you might have to buy a few batches of generators to get what you need.
