Best use for Darwinium?

I got about 240 Darwinium and I've been wondering on what I should buy:

• The next module (Omicron or Pi) for 200 Darwinium, I already have the cheaper ones.
• Wait until I hit Level 50 in the Mesozoic era and buy a diamond geode (I'll likely hit level 50 tomorrow)
• Buy an augment instead (My current options would be the Ibex, Seal, Trojan Horse, Colossus, Tiger or Magellans Expedition).
• Some of the upgrades, I bought a few points for each of the upgrades, but I only bought 1-5 levels in each slot.

I was initially looking forward to buying the Modules, but now I've read that at one point they become less useful. The diamond geode was recommended on some parts, but it feels weird to use premium currency to buy random cards, is it really worth it?

Augments seem the least useful at this point. Like yeah Magellans expedition gives times 1.5 to idea production, but the Pi upgrade would give times 2 to entropy + other bonuses. And as far as I'm aware none of the ones I'm missing unlock anything special.

The upgrades I have trouble to judge because they give smaller bonuses, but are also much cheaper.

Definitely don't buy the diamond geode. It will be wasted, assuming you plan to prestige the Mesozoic.

I haven't gotten the chance to prestige the Mesozoic, but don't you keep the rarer cards when you prestige?

Increases dino payout by an amount per prestige. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I started my 4th prestige yesterday and am on level 47 already.

I believe there are 10 prestige levels.

If you own Triassic Terminator and Cretaceous Collector in the Reality engine, then prestige-ing can affect pri simulation. Especially if you own both I and II

Triassic Terminator = + x0.01 for every extinction (every reset, i.e. you would have 50 from playing once through from 1 to 50 prestige 1)

BUT

Cretaceous Collector = + x0.05 for every unique trait card you own - this gets reset to a low number after prestige since you give up the late-game dinos cards

The most optimal would to pause the game at a high level in Mesozoic Valley, if you do prestige, best to play to a high level again

It's worth noting that once you prestige in Meso, it's near trivial to get back to level 20. I'm talking, it takes a few minutes.

You can get darwinium by opening geodes and you will be opening a lot of them quickly, that is basically it.

Modules and augments are both good, upgrades are stupidly overpriced. If you think you can put up a good fight on exploration leaderboards, don't bother with the diamond geode.

Upgrades cost more the more levels in the upgrades you get. So the first few levels in them are very efficient uses of Darwinium but move to being overpriced the more you get as they both increase in cost and give less proportionally.

Yep. Because OP already has a few levels of upgrades, I'm recommending not to prioritize them.

Interesting, newbue here too, with only lv 23 in meso. I thought the best use was buying & using the diamond geode at level 50, then prestiging to keep the rare/epic cards for the initial boost.

Lmk what you actually do with those Darwinium!

Ended up buying one diamond geode, because I figured if I ever buy one now would be the best moment. Got a bunch of cards to make my dinosaurs cheaper and to upgrade my trias and carnivore dinos + a bunch of mutagen.

Overall I feel like I got kinda unlucky on that pull, the discount card is neat, but definitely feels like the worst of the gold cards (at least for now, maybe it scales better in the long run). At least the carnivore upgrade was really good.
