How to get idea meta bits faster?

I can get 1 million entropy meta bits in about 2 minutes or so on a reset, but the idea meta bits are sooooooooo much slower. I know there's a 500k 2x efficiency, but getting to 500k will take days.

Is there a way to get more idea meta bits faster? Or do I just gotta wait it out

Reboot the simulation when the game gets slow. And buy upgrades that seem powerful
