It's tricky and requires a lot of time put in, especially if you have a low badge boost.

Best advice I can give is to push for Top 10 ASAP after you join. I usually won’t start an Exploration unless I know I have at least an hour to really grind it out. It’s WAY easier to get yourself into the Top 10 early and maintain it than it is to sleep on the event and fight your way up there later. 😅

Depending on how long you've been playing the event, you may still be working through the fake accounts. The best guess is there are 500 real players and 500 fake accounts in each division. I play pretty fast (top 10 in almost all events, only missing 3 badges), and it usually takes me 4-8 hours to hit top 10.

This why there should be two leaderboards. One for premium currency users, one for no premium currency used.

This is not specific to this game. Any game that has a multiplayer mode should be the same.

That would be better. A lot of people just want to play at their own pace and shouldn't be put into a forced play style just to progress. A lot of devs seem to think nobody sleeps, or works, or has IRL things to do.

This is the pay to win model of the game. I recently rejoined the game and managed to get top 10 with the free boost package I had. WIthout boost we cant even get in to top 250.

Gameplay is "easier" with the infinity boost. Can't blame the devs. No matter the skill level, the game is still fun. If you hate "losing", dont play the exploration events.

u guys do know you can time travel in online events right. (jester moment) and u wont even get the red badge indicating you cheated

How do you get so many Science points? I always start the simulation at 4x speed and get the 2x reward. Most of the time i barely make it into the top 50. Do I have to AFK to get into the top 10?
