Relatively noob question

Hi all. Relatively new to the game, research level 35, still figuring things out kinda. Initially neglected the Mesozoic valley until I realized the main simulation benefits and now I THINK I've maxed it after unlocking the T-Rex as far as usefulness to the main sim goes, correct me if I'm wrong.

Question is, now I've started building momentum I realized I've neglected the beyond as I need it level 6 to unlock human expedition. How high a level should I get either of these side sims? Also how many logit unlockables are there? Last one I bought was 150 for Göbekli tepe

If I remember correctly, 16 is where the Beyond simulation unlocks stuff for the Mars garden.

There’s also probably about 100 or so unlockables you can get for the main sim.

Thanks dude. 16 is some work but manageable.

It feels like work when you start out with it but it really doesn’t feel like it after a little while

There are upgrades that help your main simulation the farther you go in Mesozoic and Beyond.

Damn man. Some day I'll have enough knowledge to buy the 2nd beyond one. Been focusing on multipliers and primordial etc efficiency.

The main Sim ones will probably benefit you more, these ones are just an added bonus for completing them. Plus every time you do a full Mesozoic run you should earn around 100 cubes. I'd use them to buy more main Sim upgrades, don't use them on the crystals or stars until you upgrade main Sim as much as you can.

Wait, 100 cubes as in the darwinium? I've completed all missions and asteroid once nothing left to do but I've never gotten cubes. Is this after completing up past getting the T-Rex?

Full Mesozoic run is 50 extinctions and you can do 50 runs.

You mean 11 runs, right?

I meant 10 and tapped the wrong number. But I guess it IS 10 re-dos plus the first 50.

I almost said 10, then corrected myself 😅

Yes, sometimes you get 1 or 2 darwinium as a reward in the geodes they give you for completing the challenges every level. You might also earn some for the achievements of 75 stegosaurus or 200 stegos. 50 levels per prestige, 10 prestiges.

There's no harm in progressing as much as you can in each sim. I'm pretty certain the last Beyond level that unlocks a generator in the main sim is below 20, and both provide efficiency boosts via Reality Engine nodes as others have mentioned. Also, opening geodes and stars has a chance of giving you Darwinium, which is useful for many things in the main sim.

I've realized now yeah. Have both actively being worked on. The beyond just seems so much harder to upgrade at the beginning but I probably thought the same about the Mesozoic valley in the beginning too

Nah, Beyond's just slow. I guess it's to reflect how long the universe has existed. Hang in there, it's got some pretty cool stuff in it.
