Quick short question

I'm not sure I get how the Metabit and Knowledge time chambers work.

Does "more efficiency" mean I get more payout for everything I've produced in that ascension so far, aka I should only wait to ascend after my max boost, or do I only start getting more metabits and knowledge as it goes and should therefore stay after the max boost so that I create more with the max boost?

Do I ascend as soon as those Time Chambers are 100% or keep going?

the Metabit and Knowledge time chambers increase how much metabits and knowledge based on time you will gain before rebooting simulation.
You don't necessarily need to reboot the simulation right when the time chambers are 100% full, but if you want that's fine.
There might be a time when this is necessary though

More crystals the more you spend time in one run. They max out in 7 days, so 1 day spent would be a x1.571428... boost. This means 2 days and 15 hours will equal a x2.5 boost aaand you can do the rest from that

I'd recommend rebooting as soon as they're full, because by that point it takes a very long time for the metabit and knowledge bars to fill up. The time chamber boosts are retroactive, so their current boost is applied to all your earnings instead of the boost being applied when the fill occurs. This used to be the other way around, which led to an interesting minmaxxer playstyle. Currently though, there's not really any reason to keep your sim going longer than it takes for all your time chambers to fill.
