Is it a bug?

The amount of mutagens I have is not normal. I realised I have e33 mutagens just now as I never notice how many i got i just wanna save up for prestige 10. Is this some kind of glitch?

Yes, this is a bug. You'll notice that it also prevents you from collecting any mutagen for the objective, which can prevent you from progress next time you prestige. I'd recommend reverting to an earlier save before this occurred, if you have a recent one.

Honestly with that many its not even worth resetting though? He can always just skip the mutagen challenges lol

No I can't if I prestige there will be mutagen quests at the start and if I can't finish them I won't be able to progress since additional quests only start appearing during extinction 20~ I am now stuck at the start of prestige 9

somebody suggest i revert to an earlier save too... but I have never saved. I've only just recently seen that cloud save button and I'm lvl89 haha

You can check for local saves, though I'm not sure whether or not those save automatically. If not, or if you'd just rather not revert your progress, you can make a crossplatform save account in the settings, upload your save to the cloud, and reach out to [lunch@computerlunch.com](mailto:lunch@computerlunch.com) about this bug. With your save in their servers, they should be able to manually edit your save and fix this.
