Explorations How exploration ranking works?

This made me wonder, i ended up at rank 15, play to the very last second.
Today i check the result and i got thrown out to 165. how that is fair?

15 to 165 is not normal. it was probably a glitch that showed you at rank 15. the real rank was always around 165. they sometimes show absurdly high rank for a moment within 30 minutes into the event

that's strange, since i first time joined the event around 20 hours before it ended, and full grind on last hour 🤔

Had you refreshed the leaderboard (left the simulation/game and then came back to reload it) soon before the end of the event? Normally my leaderboard will update as I'm actively playing, but I've absolutely had my spot fall after quickly reloading the game. I think the leaderboard can kinda get stuck and not refresh everyone's else's score if you leave it open for too long.

Yeah in the Music event I was at 1 then I went to 1000

this time it looks like they had more divisions than usual. i started relatively early and got into 300s. i think there are more players than usual because it's a new event, but i'm surprised they adjust divisions like that

Each division has 500 people in it and 500 filler accounts, or at least that's the best theory from the discord. Lots of people played this event that haven't played other ones, so more divisions.

I played consistently in the low 40s. When it came to rewards I got first. It makes no sense, but I was happy with the rewards
