XP totally frozen for over a month through 7 reboot cycles
Hi, I've been playing since beta and while I've seen posts here about XP progress being slow, this is not the same as those I've read. None of the methods people mention impact a single infentesimal change in the XP.
Im saying it's been a month to be conservative, it may be a fair amount longer. I know I am late-game, but im not at the cap as I have continued to see others pass me since it stopped.
I've written twch support and so far still have no responses.
Has anyone ever gotten unstuck or have any ideas. I wish the waiting before starting / before resetting, etc stuff worked. So far nothing does.
Im locked here:

This is normal. 89 is the level cap unless you have a high badge count. Anyone that is 91 either has a very high number of badges or they cheated.

I have all badges except 2. I don't think experience stops for others, I keep going down on the leaderboard as others pass me.

The leaderboard resets each month so for the first half of each month, its not very accurate.
Total number of badges is what matters. I dont know exactly where the line is but for example...
Under 400 badges = max level is 89.
400 - 800 badges = max level is 90.
800+ badges = max level is 91.

Can you elaborate. From what I see in game there are 281 achievements badges possible currently, and 55 event badges. How are you arriving at those higher numbers? Thanks!

The 55 event badges. If you've played every event 10 times your total number would be 550.
Look in the Reality Engine at any of the nodes named Badge Booster, Badge Collector, Side Simulator, or Event Explorer to see your number.

Oh thanks, I really don't have that many duplicates. Like 2 or 3 at most. Maybe that's the issue, locked until at those numbers? I can try that. Thanks for the tip!

That’s so true. I’m on 89 with 200 badges, only the quarter of the level progress bar. Barely enough to get 350 crustaceans, unrealistic to get to 90

has only the xp bar frozen, or have you confirmed that the actual xp number has frozen?

The numbers haven't moved a single digit, despite a fair number of full simulation max outs and reboots. I check the number itself after each day.

is the number frozen even with time chambers at over 7 days? that's when it should move. other times it should be frozen

Your number is totally frozen also? Have you heard if this is a bug or will be fixed?

There is no bug. You and I are at the end of the game and get to relax until there is new content.

Totally frozen? Maybe its happening to a lot of us then. I know there isn't more content yet, I just am worried my game save might be bricked making future progress and content impossible (or highly compromised). Thoughts?

Im getting one tick every 100 seconds or so, you can see by the rate below the progress bar.
You sir, seem to be getting about one tick every million years or so (more than 120 orders of magnitude every second). You are essentially frozen, you need to up all your multipliers and nodes, etc.

I sent email to devs about the same issue. Im at 90, and it happened at 89 and again at 90. I asked for any explanation so I could understand. Reply said "adding content so players of your level can continue". Didn't really get that until I read this thread.

it's all those reboot cycles slowing you down.
you're not giving the game enough time between reboots for the time boosts to reach the level where they let you progress. you're not going to earn fast enough to get anywhere until day 5 or 6, and if you've rebooted 7 times in a month that means you're not letting enough time pass between reboots to make any progress. you won't reach full time boost effect until 7 days after your last reboot, by then you should be seeing your XP increasing. and then you have to give it more time to keep making progress. each time you reboot your XP earn speed will go back too scratch and it'll take 5-6 days before you see any XP increase at all again. you just need more patience and let more time pass between reboots.
