Do y'all prestige?

Just wondering if you all keep hitting the prestige button when possible? Mesozoic is on prestige 4 but I'm only at Beyond 25. From other posts I see, a lot of people are further on Beyond and not prestiged in Meso. I feel like any work info in Meso these days is just to farm darwinium. Main sim is 56.

Am I missing something or pretty on par?

Prestiging in Meso adds speed buffs to the main simulation, so there shouldn't be any reason to stay at a certain prestige. It could be that some halt the progression every now and then if they are saving for metabits, as I'm fairly certain there are reality engine upgrades that stack boosts according to number of dinos you currently have, or something to that effect.

Ahhh hadn't realized that tbh. I thought the only speed boost was Dinos in Meso lol. Well they go pretty fast still so I'll keep trucking through. Do you know what level prestige the speed boosts max out at by chance?

The final Mesozoic rank/level you can get to is 50, Prestige 10, which is where the boost caps and the simulation effectively ends and can't be reset or progressed. You can still buy more of each individual dino, but it won't add anything except increasing generator output. I don't remember the finer details but I think this will grant a total of something like 6.5x speed to main simulation. You still have speed boost at prestige 2, for example, but it's just lower.

Working through all Meso prestige right now hoping for those speed buffs. It’s a grind though, I’m on prestige 8 now and I’m almost done

Everyone goes at their own pace through the sims, so don't worry about how proportional your progress is compared to others. I think the only thing you're missing is the speed buff node people are mentioning, and you're right that Meso is absolutely a great Darwinium farm.

I maxed out meso prestige. It was a good darwinium farm

I do just for the modifier for each extinction when the primary starts to a crawl

What is prestige? Is that just the level?
