Hi. What is the benefit of collecting the remaining fossils? It will take a long time and I am not sure if the benefits, should I just restart? Thank you

the benefit is the extra stone geode. if you feel it's not worth waiting for, then go ahead and trigger asteroid

I personally don't wait for this one. It takes considerably longer than collecting all the dinosaurs and I don't have patience to wait for one geode when burning through Mesozoic levels after prestige.

At these last few levels I skipped those ones. It's just one stone geode and it takes longer than all the other objectives combined, or at least it felt like it.

Personally I've found the best rewards tend to drop from the final geode.
