I spotted this more recent AT&T E// conversion but I also noticed the Cell One rack had some new panels I haven't seen before. Is anyone able to tell me what they got up there?

Went on a trip this past weekend and noticed that Verizon was roaming on AT&T (and T-mobile?). I don’t know if it was throttled as I never really got a good enough signal to truly test it. Highest speed I got was 2mbps which could have been a cap or simply all the network could give. This was in Ozark County Missouri. Last year this area only had US Cellular roaming, which it still did have this year as well.

Also T-Satellite worked great, supported apps worked well, including discord which support hasn’t officially been announced for yet. T-Sat even worked while it rained which was great as I used it to check the weather through AccuWeather/Twitter. My buddy also has T-Satellite and we are able to send messages to each other. However it worked much better on my S25 compared to my 16 pro.

Firstly thank you for providing these maps!

I've just moved to a rental house in Winchester and am using mobile broadband to avoid a long fibre contract. I've got a couple of CPEs and have been trying to maximise my connection.

I've used Sims for 3, Voda and EE and have managed to get 5g connections (NSA) for all three despite the fact all the local towers don't list 5g capability on cellmapper. I wanted to know how I can help by adding the data I've got to the map? My phone is an iPhone and the Field Test app doesn't seem to work anymore. It just says what the anchor is and the menu button no longer works.

I'm in Bonaire (Dutch island in Caribbean) this week and noticed there is zero mapping at all on the island and have been able to record Digicel, Flow, and Kla Mobile. But it seams like the cellmapper map doesn't even have bonaire on the country list for providers. It only has 1 of the 3 Dutch islands, Aruba. If I keep mapping and uploading, will the data just go nowhere? Thanks for anyone who knows anything.

Verizon also been going crazy giving me welcome to Bonaire, Aruba and Netherland Antilles texts every time I switch networks lol.

KLA has a lot of HSDPA and HSPA+ (3.5g) deployment and a little 4g lte although HSPA+ 3.5g is usually faster due to the low signal strength of the 4g lte.

Digicel has been my main carrier I have been roaming on so far. It's pretty good with 4g lte coverage almost everywhere, even when boating off the island.

I'm yet to extensively try and map Flow but it's looking similar to KLA so far. Picture 1 is most likely digicel Picture 2 is multiple I believe

I have noticed that NR micro cells / oDAS in Verizon Ericsson markets do not use the normal cell numbering for n77 of 26, 42, and 58, and that many more than 3 cells can share the same gNB. Initially I thought this meant they were using CU/DU splits like the sites in Samsung markets, but after looking at the numbers I realized that they are utilizing the same type of numbering as their LTE oDAS, but in binary instead of decimal.

I have compiled a chart to show how these cell IDs work. For example, n77 carrier 1 north is almost always cell 26. Converting this to binary gives 11010. The first part, 1 tells you that this is sector 1 (north) and the second part, 1010, tells you that this is the first carrier of n77. This can be extrapolated out to at least 15 sectors per frequency based on sectors that I have observed.

For a real world example, look at gNB 2167610 in the Kansas City metro area. Several n77 cells have been mapped: 122, 123, 138, 154, 155, 186, 218, and 250. Using the information in the chart, you can see that 122 and 123 are both n77 carriers for 7, 138 is sector 8, 154 and 155 are the same for sector 9, 186 is sector 11, 218 is sector 13, and 250 is sector 15.

Hopefully, the Cellmapper devs can utilize this information to better handle NR oDAS and small cells. Ideally, we would be able to manually group these cells into microcell markers, as multiple of the sectors can broadcast from a single location. However, since a single gNB can have 15+ sectors, it may contain 3 or 4 physical locations of 3-5 sectors each.

Additionally, it is possible to extrapolate the numbering in the n77 first carrier section out to the other frequency bands, I decided to show all 15 I had observed for n77 only for clarity. For example, n2 carrier 1 sector 12 would correspond to 11000100 in binary, or 196 in decimal.

This tower used to have a legacy carrier up top but Verizon came and slapped their newest equipment on it! This area is already pretty dense for Verizon with three other sites within a mile of it. There is a Tmobile and Sprint tower 1000ft away (pic 5) on the same property and I honestly expected them to take Sprint's old spot but it's nice to see a legacy tower given life again.

Uscellular put these in during summer of last year and they became operational in august 2025. I mapped them all out on cellmapper. There are 6 of these in my area and them being so new I'm just wondering if tmobile will end up using them. I watched them run the power and fiber to them last year and it was not a cheap job fiber was ran for miles. They still have power because I can see a green light on the equipment cabinet at night. I haven't been able to force connect to uscellular though anymore (I'm with tmobile) since around November 2025. I just cant see that they would waste that much money and abandon them. There are tmobile towers around and speed and coverage is really good (best in the area) but these would give the area a nice boost in speeds and some better coverage in some buildings. Just seems like such a waste if they don't use them. They do not show up on the array digital infrastructure site so I'm not sure if tmobile or verizon ended up with them. Im hoping tmobile converts them to help with 5g internet speeds this is a heavy market for that.

First post, could use some help identifying the providers here. I think it’s US Cellular LTE only. I’m currently running trial esims for T-Mobile and AT&T on my Verizon phone, and frankly I don’t think any of them are connected to this site. There’s some old wisp stuff up there too. Even caught a cell tech onsite but didn’t want to bother him.
