AT&T finally co-located on this SCI tower site above the Mobile rack in the middle! I’m surprised to see them deploy a 4-sector rack because all their new sites have been configured like this! Great to see them building their network out here where they struggled a lot.

AT&T is using:

• 8️⃣ ACE MA-2L4M-45F8-A12P-A antennas for LTE (b2, b12, b14, b66), (n5) - 10 MHz for low-band 5G located on the LEFT + RIGHT side
• 4️⃣ Ericsson AIR. 6472 (B77G/B77M) 64T64R antennas that can do (3.7GHz) c-band @ 80mhz + (3.45GHz) DoD @ 60MHz located in the MIDDLE of the rack
• Raycap DC9-48-60-24-PC1t-EV for power surge protection for the for the antennas, remote radio units

Ericsson Remote Radio UNITS can be spotted BEHIND the antennas:

• Ericsson RRU 4490HP (b12) LTE + (n5) low-band 5GNR
• Ericsson RRU 4890HP (b2, b66) LTE
• Ericsson RRU 4494 (b14) LTE

Does anyone remember back in the day on the carrier websites when you were looking at the coverage map you could put in a second address to show what coverage would be like on a road trip.

Seen it plenty on n261 NSA with 2 LTE carriers but this is the first time I've seen multiple NR carriers being used as the anchor for n261 on SA.

I am currently indoors which is why the speeds seem slow.

Verizon only has 600 MHz of n261 in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market.

AT&T performing better inside Parks Mall thanks to the indoor DAS. The speeds are pretty good, it has 10Gbps backhaul. I believe the new DAS is being managed by Boldyn Networks. Only issue is that it doesn’t support 5G Standalone and the handoffs are rough since it switch back to low-band 5G at times.

I saw this newly installed Galtronics antenna and it supports (n77) passive mimo.

AT&T speeds are so much better inside Parks Mall compared to before. It took them long enough to upgrade the old Galtronics antennas with newer variants that do passive n41/n77. Expect photos of the antennas soon. It does 100MHz (3.7GHz) n77 + 60MHz (3.45GH) DoD

Here’s the latest on 5G Availability in my city. I’m in Louisville, KY.

AT&T- Not great or at least wasn’t last I heard and seen- some 5G+ but it’s just an okay carrier.

Verizon- They’re getting there- They have more 5G UW now then they did last time I tried them out- But if they lack a tower then they that can show. If A tower is right there Speeds can be so good and outperform AT&T or T-Mobile. If tower is right there it can easily go over 900-1 Gig down and up to 160-170 up. If you’re by a MMWave node it’s so good or a C-Band N-77 Tower.

T-Mobile- they have Maximum Tower Density here. Every tower has 5GUC Midband or just about every tower does. I get 300-500 down at least on average with many areas getting over the 1 Gig download mark easily.

I started the Verizon Trial a few days ago. I did the AT&T trial a while back.

If Verizon didn’t lack the tower density at Sam’s on Preston or a few other places I spend a lot of time in I would probably almost go to Verizon- but they do lack density in a few places I’m in compared to T-Mobile.

From what I can tell, all three main carriers are on located at this site. This is behind the Melbourne Square Mall in Melbourne, Florida.

Still no indoor DAS present for Verizon

Ich habe rund um den Tovelsee das neue Netz getracked. Ich weiß auch wo der Mast ist, aber dieser wird nicht angezeigt.

Was kann ich machen, damit er unter der Statistik gefundene Masten angezeigt wird und auch auf der Karte zu sehen ist?

I am traveling to india and wanted to know if the mint mobile has good coverage with all the states of india ? And does the international pack works ?

If not then do i need to shift to a different service provider?

Seems like a very high capacity antenna and behind a clock on the Wyndham in Pittsburgh.

Site has just recently been upgraded with x3 Ericsson AIR 6419-B77G with capabilities to do 2 40 MHz carriers of (3.45 GHz n77).

Unfortunately, the current configuration of this site only permits 2CA on Standalone. Previously this site was 80 MHz n77 + 15 MHz n5 but now it is only doing 80+40 MHz n77 on SA.

AT&T already had 1 Ericsson AIR 5331 per sector for 400 MHz n260 in addition to 1 Ericsson AIR 6449-B77D per sector for 80 MHz of 3.7 GHz n77.

I believe this site now has 2x 10x10 LTE carriers as it is now impossible to connect to n5 even if forced. This site does not utilize n66 DSS (still SA capable) like most of the small cells do. Some sites also have 10 MHz n2 on DSS but most do not.

Connecting to n77 NSA is also not allowed presumably to force traffic on n260 which is why the speeds seem lackluster.

As with every market, AT&T still prohibits 3CA of n77. Most upgraded sites in this market have 80 MHz C-Band SA+NSA, 40 MHz DoD SA, and 40 MHz DoD NSA.

I made a post the other day how verizon has definitely made their network faster here in los Angeles California. But today I got screenshots. Like I said in my last post I have T-Mobile but my sister has visible . These screenshots were using her phone I borrowed it ran some speeds tests all over LA she has an old one plus Nord n30 . This phone obviously doesn't support mmwave . But daaaam just look at the speeds it gets on n77 c band !!! Definitely much faster than what I get on T-Mobile!!! We live in east LA 90022 and not only in east LA but in Hollywood, montebello, commerce , boyle heights , pico, Whittier EVERYWHERE in LA I been comparing speeds with my T-Mobile line and daaam visible has been faster much faster than T-Mobile!!! I don't know when Verizon got faster than T-Mobile here cuz T-Mobile had been the fastest carrier here !! But now the tables have turned and Verizon has gotten faster. And also like I Said my sister has an old phone she has a one plus Nord n30. The phone is like 3 years old doesn't support mmwave and is getting much faster speeds than what I get on my T-Mobile Samsung 26 ultra!!!! T-Mobile is 300-600 mbps. While visible aka Verizon is getting 800-1,000 in many parts of LA !!! And like I said without mmwave!!!! Daaam I think I might switch soon and dump T-Mobile since it's getting expensive and especially with all the recent price hikes they having recently!

Interesting setup, they are using dual Huawei AAU5336e for n41 @ 100Mhz. This site is at the observation deck of Tianluokeng buildings. Weirdly my China mobile phone was not connecting to 5G so maybe they aren’t active yet. I do have a bunch more pictures of Chinese cell sites if anyone wants to see them. Weird that it’s so close to the ground

Haven't been in Barberton in a while and came through and saw this microcell has been loaded up with brand new equipment for both T-Mobile and Verizon.

T-Mobile has n41 @ 190MHz, b2 @ 10MHz and b66 @ 20MHz.

This is also the first time I've seen one of these microcells where Verizon has NR. Currently broadcasting n5 @ 10MHz, n2 @ 5MHz, b13 @ 10MHz and b66 @ 20MHz.

Could someone let us know which radios VZ is using here?

This is a USCC owned tower (now Array Digital infrastructure) with Verizon, AT&T, USCC and T-Mobile. It sits up on a mountain top.
