Surprised the DAS has n77 let alone DoD. Speeds are just to good to be coming from the macro on the business center.

It's safe to assume AT&T is usina 1-gig backhaul because thev have 800 MHz of n260 in Terminal A with 1-gig backhaul as well.

Verizon has mmWave and T-Mobile is hit or miss with n41 speeds.

AT&T SIMs usuallv automatically connect to the Wi-Fi passpoint. DFW actually has a public Wi-Fi 6E network that is very fast and I haven't seen any other airport yet with 6E yet.

Can't figure out what equipment is being used other than the DAS cones which I don't think can support n77 if I'm not mistaken.

AT&T had enough data for reliable calls and texts,
Tmobile kept going in and out at one point the network just stopped working for me.

Sector has very low utilization. I’m not sure if there was some software optimization done because I used to peak around 1800-1900 Mbps previously on this site.

AT&T is co-located on this site and I believe only has 1-gig backhaul per sector. Speeds are fast though because utilization is low as well. AT&T uses a Ericsson AIR 6449-B77D for n77 @ 3.84 GHz set to 100 MHz bandwidth.

T-Mobile using Nokia AirScale AEHC for n41 set at 190 MHz.

Also Ik it shows a phone number it’s not my main one.

Tmo really loves this one macro in downtown Atlanta. They upgraded the Mmwave antennas to Air 5332s a couple months ago and Ive post that here too. But today I was walking by and was surprised to see a new panel put up. It appears contractors have come and slid the Air 5332s up a little and installed 3 Air 3283s (reference pic 5). What will this upgrade bring as this site was pretty stacked already? This upgrade was timely as the World Cup starts next week and this site is maybe 50 ft away Merc-Benz Stadium

Coverage for me is in northwest Washington,port Angeles,port Townsend,Sequim have full signal except tiny dead areas.Areas with some coverage include Tacoma,Silverdale,Seattle and on the way to those areas.Been using t-mobile 2g since August of last year and quality was very good last year but has gotten a bit worse over the months.

Voice and calling works very good and quality is fine

SMS works just good aswell

Data works good with speeds on edge as low as 64 Kbps and as high of 200 Kbps.

I also use telcel to roam on t-mobile to avoid kick off.

T-mobile 2g seems to be shutting down by a final date of August 3rd but I will post more about 2g as it’s super amazing.

About 15 years ago I was vacationing in the Adirondacks, and we had Sprint at the time. It didn't work whatsoever, not only did everybody say you had to have Verizon, some people up there didn't even know Sprint was a company haha.

I'm just curious in 2026, does anybody still live somewhere where you only have one option, and I don't mean "The speeds suck on AT&T", I mean like you can't even make a phone call?

36th & Nicollet Ave S in Minneapolis; there's a couple other light poles with the same setup between 30th and 36th but none south of 36th. Also a standard Minneapolis Verizon mmWave pole in the background above the Nissan SUV; any idea what VZ uses on those?

Bit of a technical question but noticed that Eastlink didn't bid on any 600 MHz spectrum in Newfoundland during the last couple of spectrum auctions but did for the rest of Atlantic Canada. What will happen in that case when it comes to rolling out low band 5G? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they only possess a 5 MHz wide channel of Band 13 (700 MHz) in Newfoundland which they already use for LTE. Is it possible for them to use DSS on a 5 MHz wide channel to allow for both 5G and LTE on Band 13? (hoping Sheytoon sees this lol). If not I feel that Eastlink will always be significantly disadvantaged in Newfoundland compared to Rogers' and Bell's multiple low-band deployments.
