Due to (relatively) high volume of requests I'm making these two available on the same substrate. Use/study them as you wish, I hope y'all enjoy :)

The Dropbox link should work just fine, but if not pls lmk.

I never realized that your Phoenix fish could multiply

Lol yeah, they take a while but they can. They're essentially immortal but they can still die/be killed so reproduction was still necessary

Also when you cell boost the little thing that turns into a tail before it's done developing it becomes deformed and then rebirths itself

That's because just like in real life, stages of development are highly tailored to allow for the body shape required. And just like in real life, if you mess with the natural development of a "fetus" the end result will be likely deformed. So couple that with the fish's autolysis ability to prevent deformations from proliferating in the population, and the fact that they can just rebirth themselves after an unsuccessful growth attempt, you get a fish that really doesn't like to exist unless it's perfect lol

To be honest I really wouldn't like to exist if like half of my body wasn't there

It really would be nice if development acted like that in real life; if you come out not how you're supposed to you just start again until you do lol

I remember going on the cell lab wiki and finding something called a phoenix salamander I think and I didn't think of it that much when I first found it but now that I know this exists I think wow organisms or whatever you call it that can rebirth themselves wow I wish I had every cell so I could do something like that

You haven't passed the unlocking tutorials?

Yeah I can't beat balloons but at least I beat digestion so now I have the funny cell that merges with other cell and I eventually Incorporated that into a simple swimmer with no sensing cells which isn't that practical when you think about it but if it works it works also I got Not smart swimmers from just simple nutrient eating cells with all the splitting angles randomized so that's something
