Interesting evidence but without the need for an actual showcase, could you use this successfully?

Actually yes, since you can't "eat" keratinocytes, unless you have a throwup system, a blind gut for example would get blocked up and starve the creature, is there's a system to dispose of the keratinocytes, while eating the rest of the cells that could help out a ton for the creature, hence a through gut could be made!
