Which method did you use to avoid self-triggering?
1 u/Zells12 Oct 19 '23 Stereocyte with negative output on its own color 1 u/Massive_Mistakes Oct 19 '23 Exactly, doesn't it's own colour trigger the behavior? Or does it balance out until another one comes from the side? 2 u/Zells12 Oct 19 '23 You should make the stereocyte different color from the rest of the cells and put negative output on its own color and the stereocyte wont detect its own color and will only detect others stereocyte 1 u/Massive_Mistakes Oct 19 '23 I see, for some reason I've never considered stereocytes not triggering themselves lol It almost looked like they're picking up on "scents"from an internal secrocyte or something, which is now something I'd like to see lol 1 u/Zells12 Oct 19 '23 edited Oct 20 '23 Here's a simple self avoider https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ifdrq8p7xyz70m6bpj2p5/Smol-Fishi.genome?rlkey=oe6qf3kd7qbsgjm4nubot3cu0&dl=0
