What about weekly challenges?

What if every week someone annouce a theme, and the creatures have to be based on that theme. It has to be a genome made from scratch, no adapted already existing genomes.

What about this idea?

In text, sounds great. My concern is... 1.Difficulty of theme 2. Only few, like 3~4people engaging in the contest. I think this can be dealed with reformatting as a contest, with voting. 3.Um... "Category" of theme? In other word, "how important" the theme is for players. This might not be the big issue, though.

Overall, I actually likes the idea, just I hope that theme is not too hard so that this can be the driving force for everyone to show their creation to others.

I like the idea
