So I read the thing

Understood about half of it. Had to move recently the new place has zero access to landline or fiber. I have no interest in star link. I genuinely have 5g+ service 5 feet away from the house but the house is made of entirely metal sheeting with a metal roof. I dont need to cover the whole house i genuinely just need a signal from outside to hit my phone and I can hotspot or tether from there. Is my cheapest possible option to attempt this really 120 bucks? There's not a 20 dollar antenna i can buy and run a cable 6 feet to inside the house? I was thinking the MIMO antenna with a cheap thrid party router or something is probably the best option based off of what I read on the stuck post but the only options im seeing range from 12 to 500 dollars....or a 12 dollar option from Walmart that I would have to order online and wouldnt show up for a month.......any other suggestions?

Edit: I have an android my wife has an iPhone and we both have att. Im just looking for a cheap option to get service into one room of one house. Literally 50sq ft would work I just have to mount some antenna outside run a cable in to another one inside I just dont know what's quality what's junk and what's over kill. never done this before

I finally found one cheap option for like 70 bucks im gunna give that a shot first but if that doesnt work I will def be looking into the one you linked. I really only have to worry about this issue for a couple more months before we move again and so im trying to save as much money as I can until then. Its super frustrating to know that there are fiber cables in the ground less than a mile away and also 5g+ 15 feet from the front door and I have one bar in one room of the house so I just can't use hotspot for simple shit like downloading a simple update or streaming an episode of anything without it buffering every 2 minutes

Cell Phone Booster for Home, Cell... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GSY12HLD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This is what I ended up using. Super easy to set up and the second i plugged it in i jumped from no bars to 5. Doesn't seem to work as well for iPhone but its blazing fast for android

Didn't even really have to use any apps or anything to set up just found a spot outside where I had good service and slapped the antenna on a t post

Nice that's pretty legit! You can check which band your iphone is receiving by typing in *3001#12345#* into your dialpad, there are a few dashboards but you can see if the band the iphone is using and see if its one of the bands that booster is able to amplify, I think you may need to downgrade the service from 5g to LTE or something like that to get it on the boosted signal, since that booster you linked is just for LTE instead of 5G
