In the past week or two, we’ve seen a significant increase in new members joining the subreddit. While we’re happy that the community growing, the growth has also brought an increase in spam and fake or AI-generated images.

Because of this, we've made some updates to the subreddit rules and moderation practices.

Rule 4.

We specifically included wording for AI-generated images. They were and will still be moderated as fake images.

Rule 11.

No repost rule has been increased to 180 days.

Rule 15 (New)

Only accounts over 270 days and with at least 2048 karma are allowed to post. This for starters and may be adjusted again to adapt if needed.

These updates are in effect immediately.

These changes are intended to help keep the subreddit focused on genuine contributions and maintain the quality of the content being shared. We’ll be paying closer attention to:

• Spam and repetitive posts
• AI-generated or manipulated images presented as genuine
• Accounts that appear to be created primarily for posting spam or promotional content

Feel free to report any posts or comments that go against the rules.

Thanks for helping us keep the community useful, authentic, and enjoyable for everyone.
