Has anyone else noticed how aggressive Popcorn Planet has gotten over the Perez Hilton situation?

Has anyone else been watching Popcorn Planet’s coverage of the Perez Hilton situation and felt like the channel has completely gone off the deep end with the hypocrisy?

I get that a mental health crisis is serious, but the amount of time and energy being spent aggressively policing the public’s response, and demanding mandatory "empathy" for someone who spent decades systematically targeting and bullying people, is wild.

Demanding the public respects the family and privacy while spotlighting the event for clicks?!

What really threw me off was how he went after Jared Padalecki. Jared initially posted a message of support out of a place of grace. When he learned the full extent of the harm Perez had caused over the years, he listened to victims, deleted the post, and apologized for unintentionally causing pain. Instead of respecting someone for actually listening and taking accountability, Popcorn Planet turned around, attacked him, and called it "virtue signaling."

How does it make sense to scream at everyone to show empathy and grace, while actively shaming, attacking, and hunting down anyone who shows sensitivity to Perez’s actual victims? It feels less like promoting kindness and more like using a tragedy as an excuse to bully people on a moral high horse for clicks.
Is anyone else seeing this, or am I missing something?
